FATE BREWING COMPANY - Opened in 2012 and brewing on a 7 barrel system, this small batch producer, was still able to create a beer that took home a Silver Medal. Their Candy Milk Stout was the beer that took the podium at the Great American Beer Festival in 2013. They also make wood fired pizzas on side which are an absolute delight to pair with their beers.
FOUR PEAKS BREWING COMPANY - In 1996, Four Peaks Brewing Company, moved into this classic brick building constructed in 1892. This building was originally a creamery, but now it has been modified to contain the the brewhouse, which produces nearly 40,000 barrels of beer annually. This brewery is the only one in the state to make the American Brewer’s Associations Top 50 Craft Breweries in America. Winning Silver Medals at the 2013 Great American Beer Festival for their Kilt Lifter Scottish Ale and Hop Knot IPA, this brewery is good at what they do.
UNCLE BEAR'S BREWERY - Born out of Bear’s (a beloved Labrador mix who the owners loved and took all over the country) love for craft beer and excellent food, we have created an upbeat, fun atmosphere where friends, family and co-workers can come to enjoy a variety of delicious menu selections & NOW our own locally brewed craft beer. The Uncle Bear’s Brewhouse opened in 2013, as well as the 4 Grill and Bar locations were re-branded to the Grill and Tap concept that same year.
HUSS BREWING CO. - Just off the light rail in Tempe located in the former Rio Salado Brewery, industry veterans and husband and wife team Jeff and Leah Huss opened shop in 2013. Head brewer Jeff is making magic on their 30 barrel system using his education from the Siebel Institute in Chicago and his experience as Head brewer at BJ’s Brewery in Chandler. In addition to making their own brews, Huss also produces beer for Papago Brewing in Scottsdale.
CARTEL BREWERY - Cartel Brewery brews some of the southwest's most unique craft beers, including its Desert Pale, FYITM Double IPA, Coffee Brown, and Amber Rye.
O.H.S.O. BREWERY - “Outrageous Homebrewer's Social Outpost” is located in a neighborhood known as Arcadia. This unique little nano brewery focuses on creating small batch brews which makes it difficult to ever have the same brew twice. The brewery opened in 2011 with the brewery and an eatery. The rotation of beers is always changing, but past favorites included the Midnight Pumpkin Wheat and Peanut Butter Brown.
THE PHOENIX ALE BREWERY - Owner George Hancock was one of the original owners of the Seattle based Pyramid Breweries. Along side the late Greg “Fretzy” Fretz, the two friends started the new venture in June of 2011. Fretzy was the one who convince Hancock to bring all of has vast brewing and ownership experience to the Valley of the Sun and now the brewery is feeding the thirst of the people in Arizona. The flagship brew is Fretzy’s Unfiltered Ale, which is brewed with Nugget Hops and a classic English Ale yeast to create an easy drinking beer.
THE PERCH - The Perch Brewery and Pub is located in Historic Downtown Chandler Arizona. It is not only and brewery and pub, but home to a collection of over 50 brightly colored, tropical rescue birds. Featuring panoramic views of Downtown Chandler from their rooftop bar and lush garden landscape in the courtyard below, the Perch offers 40 craft beers on tap, and an ever-changing selection of Perch beers. Brewmaster Andrew Bauman is responsible for their innovation beer flavors, including Rosemary IPA, Grilled Lemon Cream Ale, and Cinnamon Honey Nut Brown.
