Arizona has been in the beer industry for longer than many people would think. Most beer drinkers might not have heard of one of the largest and most popular breweries in the state of Arizona. The Arizona Brewing Company survived the “beer production cease” during Prohibition and continued to make beer in the Valley of the Sun. It however ran into the large corporations in brewing industry and was eventually swallowed up by the larger brewing corporation in the 1960’s and finally closed forever in 1985. There are many old historic stories of the brewing scene in Arizona.
